FAMILY ROBBED AFTER BEING DRUGGED IN TRAIN

Guwahati, November 1, 2018:

A family was robbed of their belongings after being drugged. The incident took place in the Guwahati-Silchar passenger train when four members of the same family were drugged.

The family hailed from Patharkandi in Karimganj district of Assam. All four were later admitted to the hospital in Lumding.

The incident has raised questions over safety and security of passengers travelling in train.
