FIFTH ACCUSED IN TIHU GANG-RAPE CASE ARRESTED

Guwahati, October 30, 2018:

The Tihu police managed to arrest the fifth accused involved in the infamous gang-rape of a woman.

The accused identified as Merajul Ali was arrested from Arikuchi in Nalbari district.

The police had managed to arrest two accused, Nurul Ali and Bakul Nath,  involved soon after committing the crime. However, three others including the prime accused Kishore Mohan Das evaded arrest.

Kishore Mohan Das was arrested on Sunday and the police was on the hunt for the fifth and last absconding accused.
