    Former Assam Congress Minister Chandan Sarkar passes away at 65

    Guwahati, November 19, 2018:

    Former minister and senior Congress leader from Assam, Chandan Sarkar passed away on Monday at the age of 65 in Bongaigaon.

    He took his last breath at the Lower Assam Hospital in Bongaigaon.

    He had a heart attack last night and was admitted to the hospital where he passed away.

    He was a minister in Tarun Gogoi's cabinet.
