Assam | Ganja worth Rs 50 lakh seized in Dhubri district

Guwahati, February 7, 2019:

A huge amount of ganja has been seized from a house in Dhirghat area by Chapar Police in Assam's Dhubri district.

A team of Chapar police and Bilasipara administration seized nearly 50 kgs of ganja worth Rs 50 lakh from the house of an individual identified as Surat Jamal.

However, the accused Jamal has been absconding and further investigation is on.
