ASSAM: GOLAGHAT DFO BEING INTERROGATED BY BIEO

The Bureau of Investigations Economic Offences(BIEO) is interrogating Golaghat Divisional Forest Officer(DFO) Ranjit Kumar Das in connection with Doikrong sand syndicate scam. Sleuths of the BIEO today summoned Das to it’s headquarters in Guwahati. The BIEO has been interrogating Das since 1 pm today. Das is likely to be arrested soon. It may mentioned that Das was interrogated by the BIEO earlier too.
