DIMAPUR: A bus headed from Guwahati in Assam to Dimapur in Nagaland met with an accident in the wee hours of the morning in Golaghat district when it accidentally veered off the main road.

A Deep Travel bus bearing registration number AS 01 2299 heading from Guwahati to Dimapur met with an accident at 5 am near Gorompani. All the passengers are safe, and the driver and cleaner managed to escape.
