Illegal teak wood worth approx 35 lakh hidden in ginger bags seized in Kokrajhar's Srirampur

KOKRAJHAR: Kokrajhar police seized illegal teak wood worth approximately 35 lakhs at Srirampur NH31C under Kokrajhar district.

The recovered teak wood was hidden in a truck full of ginger bags.

"Scratched the GINGER & we found the TEAK! Acting on an intel input a truck from Guwahati intercepted at Srirampur NH31C & recovered illegal Teak wood worth approx 35 Lakhs, kept concealed by ginger bags," the Kokrajhar police after making the recovery.
