Male leopard run over by vehicle at Jorabat under Kamrup East Division

GUWAHATI: A male leopard was run over by vehicle at Jorabat under Kamrup East Division on Wednesday.

The leopard died on the spot after being hit by a speeding vehicle.

Locals immediately informed the Forest personnel about the accident.

Forest personnel rushed to the spot of the accident. Meanwhile, the carcass of the adult leopard has been taken away by the Forest personnel for post mortem.
