    Guwahati, November 6, 2018:

    Renowned Assamese filmmaker Manik Bora passed away at his residence in Maligaon, Guwahati, on Tuesday.

    He was 72.

    Bora was the magazine secretary of “Ranghar”. He was also associated with “Bishmoy”.

    Bora, who penned the novel “Bairagi Bisanga”, was popularly known for his documentary movies, stage drama and short stories.
