MEDICAL UNIT FOR POLICE AND ARMED FORCES IN TINSUKIA

Guwahati, October 6, 2018:

A medical unit for the armed forces and police personnel was set up on Friday in Tinsukia district of Assam.

The unit was inaugurated by Tinsukia MLA Sanjay Kisan in presence of the Superintendent of Police Mugdhajyoti Mahanta and other armed forces of the district.

Speaking on the occasion, Sanjay Kisan said that the due lack of separate medical facilities for the armed forces and police personnel, they had to go to the common hospitals for their treatment. This unit will be a relief to them.
