Miscreants shoot man over personal rivalry in Nagaon

Nagaon (Assam), September 26, 2018:

One person was severely injured after miscreants allegedly shot him with a pistol on Tuesday night in Nagaon’s Herapatty.

A local informed the person injured was identified as Noor Hussain. He was allegedly shot by five persons who were coming in a vehicle. The reason for the attack was known to be a personal clash between the victim and the attackers.

According to the local, the alleged attackers have been identified as Irshad Ali, Akash Uddin, Amir Hussain, Siddik Ali and Mujibur Rahman.

Noor Hussain after the attack was taken to the BP Civil Hospital but since he was in a critical condition, he was referred to the Gauhati Medical College and Hospital.

Currently, the Nagaon Police are currently investigating the matter.
