NAGAON COURT TO FRAME CHARGES AGAINST ACCUSED IN DOKMOKA LYNCHING CASE

Guwahati, December 1, 2018:

The Nagaon District and Sessions Court will today frame charges against 46 people accused in the infamous Dokmoka lynching case that took the life of two youths from Guwahati.

The case was transferred to the Nagaon District Court from Diphu Session Court following an order by the Gauhati High Court.

A 844 page charge-sheet was filed on the case on September 1 this year.

It may be mentioned two youths from Guwahati Nilotpal Das and Abhijeet Nath were brutally lynched by a mob in Dokmoka in Karbi Anglong district after mistaking them for child lifters.
