National Santhal Liberation Army Cadre Nabbed With Arms in Kokrajhar

Kokrajhar, October 10, 2019:

A Joint operation was launched by 31 Battalion of the SSB and 12 Sikh Li on Wednesday, at the end of which the team apprehended one National Santhal Liberation Army (NSLA) cadre along with arms.

The apprehended National Santhal Liberation Army cadre has been identified Paranjit Tudu, aged 38 years. He is a resident of Khashiabari in Kokrajhar’s Gossaigaon.

The team recovered one country-made pistol, along with four live round cartridges from the militant.

It may be mentioned that in the month of January,

three NSLA (anti-talk) cadres were today arrested from Barabil village in Kokrajhar district during a joint operation conducted by Army and a police team.
