Guwahati (Assam), Aug 9, 2018:

A joint team of army and police arrested one suspected over ground worker (OGW) of the banned militant outfit United Liberation Front of Asom-Independent (ULFA-I) from Sepon in Golaghat on Wednesday in Upper Assam.

The OGW has been identified as Bolin Baruah.

One .22 pistol, six rounds of live ammunition, one magazine and one mobile phone were also reportedly recovered from his possession.

Sources claimed that Bolin had been quite active in various activities of the ULFA-I. He was also allegedly engaged in extortion and recruitment drives in various areas of Upper Assam.
