The two top contenders from the Guwahati Lok Sabha Constituency, Queen Oja from BJP and Bobbeta Sharma from Congress, are all set to file their nomination papers today. The two contenders for the Lok Sabha throne will their nominations at the DC office in Amingaon.
Oja has launched a mega rally from Sonaram field to Amingaon. Assam’s Finance Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma and BJP state president Ranjeet Kumar Dass. The rally is being accompanied by scores of singing and dancing supporters of the candidate.
Meanwhile, preparations are also underway in Congress headquarter Rajiv Bhavan and Bobbeeta Sharma is also heading to file her nomination.
It may be mentioned that Guwahati will head to the polls during the third phase of voting on 23 April.
