RAKESH PAUL DISMISSED FROM HIS POST BY PRESIDENT OF INDIA

In a major development, Assam Public Service Commission Chairman Rakesh Paul has been dismissed from his post by President of India Ramnath Kovind. The President also permitted Dibrugarh police to carry through criminal proceedings against Paul in the APSC Scam. The Dibrugarh police will receive a formal letter in this regard within a week. It may be mentioned that Rakesh Paul was arrested on November 4, 2016 and has been lodged in jail since then.
