Samedur Rahman arrested again

Guwahati (Assam), Aug 31, 2018:

Suspended Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) member Samedur Rahman was re-arrested from Guwahati on Friday.

The APSC member was out on bail after being arrested last year in connection with the cash-for-jobs scam in APSC. He has now been arrested by Dibrugarh Police in connection with a case registered with Bhangagarh Police Station pertaining to the appointment of Agriculture Development Officers. Following arrest, Rahman was taken to the Special Branch of Assam Police at Kahilipara.
