Shoot Me and My Entire Family, exclaims Akhil Gogoi’s octogenarian mother

Disapproving the court verdict, the octogenarian, who had earlier staged a hunger strike at her Selenghat Lukhurakhon village in Jorhat district immediately after Akhil’s arrest on December 12, 2019, told local television channels : “I am not aware what are they (government) up to. All I would like to say to the government is that shoot me and my entire family!”
