Stolen vehicle, trucks carrying cows seized

Guwahati (Assam), September 11, 2018:
A 12 wheeler stolen truck was seized by the Bagori police from Byrnihat in Meghalaya on Tuesday.
The police arrested four persons, identified as Upindar Sahani, Rajal Kumar, Rakesh Kumar and Birendar Sahani, in connection with the theft.
In another incident, three trucks, carrying cows, were seized by Gouripur police in north Guwahati. The trucks were moving from Alipur in West Bengal to Khanapara in Guwahati. There were five other trucks in the fleet but they sped away.
