SUBSIDISED HOUSING LOANS FOR ASSAM GOVERNMENT EMPLOYEES

Guwahati, October 27, 2018:

India government owned bank United Bank of India (UBI) has signed a Memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Government of Assam.

As per the MoU, Assam government employees will get subsidised housing loans through government’s housing scheme ‘Apun Ghar’.

Around 51,000 Assam government employees would be benefitted fom the scheme.

The MoU was signed in the presence of state Finance Minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma, Minister of State for Labour and Employment Pallab Lochan Das, Additional Chief Secretary (Finance) Rajiv Kumar Bora and UBI senior officials.
