Three more arrested in relation to Biswanath Chariali 'hate crime'

Biswanath, April 10, 2019:

Three more accused in the case of violence against a Muslim man named Shaukat Ali, who was thrashed and forced to consume pork, have been arrested at Biswanath, police have confirmed.

The accused have been booked under case no. 80/ 2019.

They have been identified as Dipak Koal, Subhal Koal and, Jinto Saikia, who have been set free after interrogation.

A fourth suspect named Dipen was arrested on Tuesday in relation to the incident.
