Two suspected Drug Smugglers arrested in Ghy Railway Station

Guwahati, November 16, 2018:

The Railway Police Force (RPF) on Friday apprehended two suspected drug smugglers from platform no 2 of Guwahati Railway Station.

The person detained by the RPF were identified as Astul Haque and Amina Khatun (name changed). These two were allegedly transporting a huge consignment of contraband tablets from Kolkata through the Saraighat Express.

They were arrested during routine checking by the RPF.
