ULFA-I to release abducted Quippo employees: Reports

Guwahati: The United Liberation Front of Asom-Independent (ULFA-I) has finally consented to release two kidnapped 'Quippo' employees, an interlocutor said.
The decision was taken after a round of talks between ULFA (I) and the OIL Company Quippo on Monday in New Delhi.
According to reports, ULFA-I chief Paresh Baruah has urged the Delhi-based company to appoint 5,000 qualified engineers from Assam.”
The duo -- drilling superintendent Pranab Kumar Gogoi and radio operator Ram Kumar – were abducted by the ULFA (I) and NSCN (K) from Arunachal Pradesh’s Changlang district.
