ULFA-I senior leader Jibon Asom to return home after 37 years

TINSUKIA: The United Liberation Front of Asom-Independent (ULFA-I), has relieved its finance secretary Jibon Asom, from all responsibilities of the outfit, on ‘medical grounds’.

The ULFA-I through a statement, said that, Jibon Asom was relieved from the outfit after he opted to retire citing ‘health problems.’

Jibon Asom alias Jibon Moran, who hails from Uban village in Kakopothar in Tinsukia district, is likely to return home after almost 37 years.
