Youth from Dalgaon detained for posting anti-national comment on Facebook

Guwahati, February 20, 2019:

Youth from Dalgaon has been detained by the Dalgaon Police on Tuesday night.

The youth has been identified as Ahej Uddin Ahmed.

Ahej Uddin posted anti-national comments such as “Pakistan Zindabaad, Prime Minister Murdabaad” along with some other comment as well. He has many friends from Pakistan and Bangladesh on his Facebook friend list.

A case has been registered against him in Dalgaon Police Station, case number 65/19 under section 124A/505(2) of the IPC.

The Superintendent of Police, Amrit Bhuyan informed that the police will investigate the case and the accused will be interrogated for extracting more information from him.
