In a strong statement ahead of the upcoming polls, Minister Jayanta Malla Baruah said that his party will compete as part of the NDA in the elections. Speaking to the media, he emphasised a tough stance on security and illegal activities, stating, “After the elections, any Pakistani agent caught will be sent straight to England.”
In a separate development, the North East Gas Distribution Company Limited (NEGDCL) inaugurated two CNG stations in Tezpur and commenced natural gas supply via pipelines to 65,000 homes, reaching 10 households directly. The inauguration took place at the Tezpur Church Field, marking a step forward in providing cleaner fuel to households in Assam.
Baruah highlighted these initiatives as part of the government’s focus on infrastructure development and public welfare.
