Assam: 137th birth anniversary of Shri Shri Thakur Anukul Chandra celebrated in Kokrajhar

The Chief Executive Member of the Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC), Promod Boro inaugurated an event to celebrate the 137th birth anniversary of Shri Shri Thakur Anukul Chandra at Kokrajhar's Green Field, on December 8.
 

The first programme of the day commenced with the opening of the temple, followed by a mass prayer session dedicated to world peace. 
 

The prayer gathering saw a large turnout of devotees, who participated in heartfelt prayers for the well-being and harmony of the world.
 

BTC CEM Promod Boro was joined by former BTC Chief Hagrama Mohilary for the occasion, making it a momentous occasion for the region. 
 

Their joint participation in the event underlined the importance of community and spiritual solidarity in celebrating the life and teachings of Shri Shri Thakur Anukul Chandra.
 

Devotees from across Assam, along with others from West Bengal, Odisha, and various other states, graced the celebration with their presence.
