Assam: 22-year-old youth found dead in Sivasagar, murder suspected

The recovery of the body of a 22-year-old youth in Dichang Majgaon in Assam’s Sivasagar district has triggered tension in the area, with allegations that he may have been murdered.

The deceased has been identified as Obhai Hazarika, a resident of Kotholia village in Boliyaghat. His body was recovered from the Dichang Majgaon area on Saturday.

Following the recovery, some locals raised suspicion that the youth’s death could be a case of murder. However, the exact cause of death has not yet been established.
