In recognition of their exemplary public service, three government employees from Sribhumi district were felicitated with the Chief Minister’s Special Award during a commemorative event held on the occasion of Lok Kalyan Diwas 2025.
The award ceremony took place at the conference hall of the Deputy Commissioner’s office and began with a solemn tribute to Bharat Ratna Gopinath Bordoloi. Deputy Commissioner Pradeep Dwivedi, along with senior officials from various departments, offered floral tributes and lit the ceremonial lamp to mark the occasion.
The honourees included Subrata Narayan Dev, Senior Administrative Officer at the Deputy Commissioner’s office; Bidyut Kanti Pal of the District Agriculture Department; and Abdul Rahman, personal driver to the Deputy Commissioner. Their dedication, discipline, and sustained contribution to public administration earned them the prestigious recognition.
Among the awardees, Subrata Narayan Dev’s career is particularly noteworthy. He began his journey in government service in 2005 as a Grade IV employee at the district’s Circuit House and gradually rose through the ranks with commitment and perseverance.
