Professional killers hired from Bihar have been implicated in a murder case in Assam, shedding light on a disturbing trend of cross-state contract killings.
On July 1, in the town of Dhumarkur in Bajali, Ibraheem Ali, a young businessman, was brutally shot dead by a group of six assailants who brazenly entered his home. The entire incident, which has sent shockwaves through the region, was captured on CCTV, providing crucial evidence for law enforcement.

Among the killers was Shashi Ram, a hired killer from Bihar, highlighting the involvement of out-of-state professional killers in local crimes. The Bajali Police acted immediately, leading to the arrest of six suspects in connection with the murder and promptly incarcerating them.
The investigation revealed that three of the assailants were professional killers from Bihar. With one of them already in custody, efforts are underway to track down the remaining two fugitives.
