Assam: AIUDF chief Badruddin Ajmal falls ill during visit to flood-affected areas in Dhubri

Maulana Badruddin Ajmal, former Dhubri MP and AIUDF chief, fell ill while visiting the flood-hit areas of Bilasipara in Dhubri district on July 14. 

Ajmal was distributing flood relief to the residents of the char area when he became unwell. Exhausted from the strenuous efforts, the former MP eventually fell asleep in the boat used for the relief operations.

The video of the same has surfaced on social media and since has been going viral. 

It needs mention here that the former MP has been visiting flood-affected areas in Dhubri and distributing relief to the affected people. 

Ajmal also took stock of the displaced residents residing in the char areas that have been heavily affected by floods and erosion.
