Assam: Bajali soldier returns home after Operation Sindoor

Himangshu Thakuria, a soldier from Tapaat in Bajali, received a warm welcome from villagers after returning home following his success in Operation Sindoor, where he fought courageously against Pakistan.

The villagers gathered to honor the soldier, celebrating his bravery and achievements. They welcomed him warmly, expressing their pride in his service to the nation.

As part of the reception, Himangshu Thakuria visited the local Naamghar (community prayer hall) in Tapaat, where he offered prayers. Villagers then greeted him with chants of “Victory to Mother India,” marking the occasion with patriotic fervor.

The entire village expressed joy and pride that one of their own young men had fought in a military operation against Pakistan and returned home successful. The event highlighted the strong sense of community and patriotism among the residents of Tapaat.
