Assam: BTC Chief Hagrama Mohilary, others pay last respects to Deputy Speaker Bijit Gwra Narzary

BTC Chief Hagrama Mohilary on August 27 paid floral tribute to the mortal remains of Bijit Gwra Narzary, Deputy Speaker of the Bodoland Territorial Council Legislative Assembly (BTCLA), who passed away on August 26.
Mohilary expressed deep grief over Narzary’s demise, describing it as an irreparable loss to the community and public life. He conveyed condolences to the bereaved family, friends, colleagues and well-wishers, and prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul.
The mortal remains of Narzary arrived at the BTC Secretariat in Kokrajhar on the morning of August 26, where a large number of people gathered to pay their final respects.
Deputy Chief Rihon Daimary, Principal Secretary Mukesh Ch Sahu, IGP, BTAD Bijoy Giri Kuliga, Additional Principal Secretary Gapinath Borgayari, President of Bodo Sahitya Sabha, Pranjit Kumar Wary, along with Executive Members, MCLAs, BTC secretaries, the Kokrajhar District Commissioner, Senior Superintendent of Police, senior officials and BTC staff, also paid floral tributes to the departed leader.
Narzary represented the 26th Darrangajuli Council Constituency in the Bodoland Territorial Council and was serving as the Deputy Speaker of the BTCLA.
His untimely demise has been widely mourned as a profound loss to the community and public life. The gathering remembered Narzary for his service to the people and his contributions to public life, while BTC leaders and officials expressed solidarity with his bereaved family.
