Assam's Sribhumi district turned jubilant following the announcement of MLA Krishnendu Pal's induction into the state cabinet.
In a vibrant display of celebration, firecrackers were set off outside the MLA's residence. Adding a personal touch to the festivities, Madhumita Pal, the MLA’s wife, joined in by lighting firecrackers herself to share the moment of joy.
Expressing her gratitude, Madhumita Pal remarked, "The Chief Minister has recognized my husband's capabilities, and this significant responsibility is a testament to his trust in him."
The celebratory mood reflects the district’s pride and optimism over this new chapter in its political representation.
Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on December 5 announced on social media the names of 4 legislators who will be included in his cabinet.
The four legislators who will be getting ministerial berth in Assam cabinet are : Prasanta Phookan, Kaushik Rai, Krishnendu Paul and Rupesh Goala.
