The Congress party is gearing up for the upcoming Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC) elections with a determined strategy to contest all 40 constituencies independently.
National Congress Secretary Prithviraj Sathe chaired a key review meeting at the Kokrajhar District Congress Office, Ranendra Bhavan, on January 9 to outline the party's roadmap for the elections.
Addressing party members, Sathe emphasized that the Congress will not forge alliances with any other political parties and will instead focus on building a robust organizational framework to ensure a strong electoral performance.
Highlighting public sentiment in the Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR), Sathe stated that dissatisfaction is brewing among the people due to unfulfilled promises and development schemes by the current administration.
