A special event was organized at Booth No. 228 in Dalimvarvita, Bajali district, Assam where the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) hosted a live broadcast of the Prime Minister’s ‘Mann Ki Baat’ radio program, accompanied by a symbolic Tricolour March (Tiranga rally). The event drew participation from local residents, party workers, and ex-servicemen.
Amid resonating chants of "Bharat Mata Ki Jai" and "Pakistan Murdabad," the program served as a tribute to the bravery and sacrifice of Indian soldiers, particularly in light of the recent Pahalgam encounter, where the Indian Army successfully thwarted terrorist threats from across the border.
Organizers stated that the Tricolour March, held in multiple regions, aimed to foster national unity and instill a sense of collective patriotism among citizens. The march was designed to send a strong message that in times of national crisis, citizens from all walks of life can and must stand together under the Indian flag.
The 122nd episode of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s flagship radio programme “Mann Ki Baat” was successfully broadcast today across several districts of Assam including Margherita under Tinsukia district with enthusiastic public engagement facilitated by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
Margherita MLA Bhaskar Sharma actively took part in the local gathering organised at Booth No. 146 under the Margherita Municipal Board, where citizens came together to listen to the Prime Minister's address.
Following the radio broadcast, MLA Sharma also led a spirited Tiranga Yatra—a tricolour rally—organized by the same booth. The march aimed at expressing solidarity with the Indian Armed Forces and uplifting nationalistic sentiment among the people.
The event witnessed participation from party workers, local residents, and youth volunteers, who lauded the initiative as a unifying platform to celebrate the nation’s achievements and express gratitude towards the military.
