The Food Safety Department has sealed Susmita Hotel and Restaurant in Baksa's Salbari, over allegations of inadequate cleanliness and poor hygiene practices.
The operation was carried out under the supervision of the Baksa district Food Safety Officer, with the Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) of Salbari also present during the sealing process.
As per initial reports, the restaurant owned by Bhujan Arya, had allegedly violated food hygiene norms.
