People protest against setting up brick kilns on agricultural land at Jogighopa in Bongaigaon district.
A section of people have planned to build brick kilns on farmland number 60 in Kachudola village under Oudubi panchayat.
However, the Saha people, who depend on agriculture, are apprehensive about the installation of brick kilns on agricultural land.

Locals claim that the brick kiln, which is set up just 200 metres away from the Bhairab Chura reserve forest known as the Green Zone, is sure to pose a threat to biodiversity.
People are opposed to setting up brick kilns that threaten public health.
The locals have sought the intervention of the district administration in connection with the entire incident.
