Assam minister: Congress and Pakistan "speaking the same language"

Assam Cabinet Minister Ashok Singhal has accused the Congress party of aligning its rhetoric with that of Pakistan, alleging that party leaders Rahul Gandhi and Pawan Khera have cast doubts on the Indian armed forces, stating that Congress and Pakistan are "speaking the same language". 
 

Speaking to reporters, he said, "Congress leaders Rahul Gandhi and Pawan Khera have questioned the Indian armed forces once again."
 

Singhal stated, “Congress and Pakistan are speaking the same language. The tweet of Congress leader is used by media in Pakistan.” He further claimed that Congress, in its attempt to oppose the BJP, has started opposing the nation and its armed forces.
 

“When the armed forces are responding to Pakistan, Congress is unable to stand with the nation as well as armed forces,” the minister added, calling the statements deeply irresponsible and damaging to national unity. "The tweet of Congress leader is used by media in Pakistan, the tweet was casting aspersions on India's achievement."
 

He further criticised the party, stating, "Opposing the BJP is one thing but while opposing the BJP, Congress has now started opposing India too."
