The Rabha Hasong Autonomous Council inaugurated 13 development schemes in Dudhnoi, all completed under the Council’s 2024–25 financial allocation.
The projects were formally inaugurated by Tangkeshwar Rabha, Chief Executive Member (CEM) of the Rabha Hasong Autonomous Council, who opened the facilities for public use after their completion.
Of the total schemes, twelve were inaugurated in the South Dudhnoi Council Constituency, represented by the CEM himself. These include key infrastructure and community facilities such as a concrete road, a concrete culvert fitted with an iron gate, a community hall, school buildings, and a cultural stage aimed at supporting local educational and cultural activities.
In addition, one development project—the Tribal Development Centre-cum-Community Hall of the Damra Patpara Mahila Samaj—was inaugurated in the Bandorshi Council Constituency.
Addressing the gathering, CEM Tangkeshwar Rabha said the schemes were executed despite the Council’s limited financial resources and were prioritised to meet essential public needs. He said the newly inaugurated facilities would improve connectivity and provide dedicated spaces for community meetings, cultural programmes, and religious activities, thereby contributing to overall local development.
