Assam Singer Prantik Das accuses Barpeta Road Bihu Sammelan of misusing artists

In a recent development, Assam Singer Prantik Das has taken to Facebook to make serious allegations against the 48th Barpeta Road Sarvajanik Rangali Bihu Sammelan, claiming misuse of artists by activists. The accusations have stirred controversy across the state, prompting a response from the Bihu Celebration Committee.

Addressing the media in a press conference, the Barpetaroad Bihu Celebration Committee expressed deep regret over the allegations made by Prantik Das, labeling his actions as unfortunate. According to the committee, Das accused them of misusing the team of artists for the event.

However, the committee refuted these claims, asserting that the artist himself was tardy in his appearance for the show. They further contended that Das, despite being late, blamed the committee for misconduct.

The committee highlighted the natural disappointment of the audience when artists fail to appear on time for scheduled performances. They emphasized that it was the responsibility of the artists to arrive promptly at the event, rather than placing blame on the celebration committee.
