Assam: Two peddlers arrested with Rs 2.7 lakh worth of drugs in Moirabari

Two infamous drug suppliers, Chabdul Rahman and Abu Bakkar Siddique, were arrested in Moirabari's Hahsora area with narcotics valued at approximately ₹2,70,000.

The arrests were made during a joint operation conducted by Morigaon district police’s special squad and Bhelowguri police. Authorities seized three soap cases filled with drugs, two scooters, and two mobile phones from the accused.

Police confirmed that interrogation is ongoing to gather further information regarding the drug network and possible accomplices.

Chabdul Rahman and Abu Bakkar Siddique have been on the police’s radar for their alleged involvement in drug trafficking activities across the region.
