A violent confrontation over a land dispute triggered intense tension in Hasanpur village under Sribhumi, leaving several people, including women and youths, injured. The situation escalated rapidly, prompting the deployment of a large police contingent to the area to restore peace.
According to official sources, the clash broke out between two rival groups in Hasanpur under the jurisdiction of Badarpur Police Station. The dispute reportedly centered around ownership of a contested plot of land.
