Assam's Bandita Devi Rabha felicitated by PM Modi for All-India Cosmetology excellence

Bandita Devi Rabha, a bright student from Bamundanga in West Goalpara, Assam, has been bestowed with a prestigious national honour by Prime Minister Narendra Modi for securing the All-India top rank in Cosmetology under the 2025 ITI program of the National Skill Training Institute (NSTI-West), Tura, Meghalaya.
The award was presented during the 4th National Skill Convocation 2025, held at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi on October 3, where Prime Minister Modi felicitated the top-ranking students from across the Northeastern region. Bandita Devi, who completed her cosmetology training at NSTI-West, had earlier undergone foundational training at the ITI institution in Dhupdhara Kothakuthi under Dudhnoi Samjila (2022–24 batch). Her stellar performance has brought honour to Meghalaya and immense pride to Goalpara district.
The All Rabha Students’ Union extended warm congratulations and best wishes to Bandita Devi, lauding her achievement as an inspiration for the youth of Assam and the Northeast. They emphasised her success as a shining example of how vocational training can empower young talent and create pathways for professional excellence.
