Pramod Boro, the Chief Executive Member (CEM) of the Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC) and President of the United People's Party Liberal (UPPL), has shared his views on the Union Budget, highlighting the nation’s progress under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership.
Speaking to the media, Boro stated that the budget aligns with the Amrit Kaal agenda, ensuring steady national development. While acknowledging ongoing discussions about its potential benefits for marginalized communities, he refrained from making detailed comments, citing the need for a thorough review.
Earlier, Boro had presented a Rs 2,200 crore budget for the 2024-25 financial year under the "Vibrant BTR Mission 2024-25". This initiative focuses on enhancing accountability, transparency, and efficient service delivery in the Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR).
He further emphasized that since PM Modi’s tenure began, numerous welfare initiatives have been introduced to uplift the common people. Expressing optimism, Boro stated, "I am hopeful this budget will bring positive news for the people."
