Caught on camera: Girl molested in Guwahati, accused arrested

In yet another incident of crime against women, a girl was molested in Guwahati’s Swaraj Nagar on Thursday (January 15) evening.

The girl was walking to her rented home, when a man suddenly came from behind and forced himself on her. The entire scene was caught on CCTV camera installed nearby.

The accused has been identified as 'Bubul Hussain, a resident of  the Guwahati's Sarumotoria area. 

Dispur police acted promptly after receiving an FIR on January 15 and arrested Hussain from his residence.

As per reports, the accused had been stalking the victim for a long time.
