With the Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC) elections approaching, the opposition Bodoland People’s Front (BPF) has intensified its grassroots outreach.
A massive workers’ meeting was held today at Habrubil UN Brahma Field in Gosaingaon, organized by the women's wing and the Bodoland Students' Union (BSU) of the 5 No. Saraibil constituency.
BPF chief Hagrama Mohilary was the central figure at the event. In a sharp attack on the ruling United People's Party Liberal (UPPL), Mohilary told reporters, “If an audit is done, everything will be clear about what the UPPL has done for BTC. In the name of ‘Mission and Vision,’ the extent of financial misappropriation will come to light. This time, we will win with an absolute majority—Pramod Boro is crying now.”
