The lush green landscapes of Kaziranga National Park are reaching their peak vibrancy as spring nears its end. The trees are fully leafed out, providing dense canopy cover across much of the park's forests and grasslands.
In a captured video, this transitional period of Kaziranga's wildlife showcases them making the most of the prime vegetation before the onset of the heat and dry conditions of summer. Panning across the lush vegetation, the camera revealed some of Kaziranga's famous residents - majestic one-horned rhinoceros grazing contentedly on the tall grasses. These endangered giants move slowly but purposefully through the greenery.
Other scenes capture more of the park's diverse wildlife taking advantage of spring's abundance. For visitors, late spring provides excellent opportunities to see animals out taking advantage of the season's bounty. The soft natural lighting filtering through the lush tree cover creates an emerald glow across the landscapes.
It is a fleeting period of transition in Kaziranga before the scenery takes on its parched summer character. Photographers and wildlife enthusiasts hope to capture the full glory of nature's spring display while they can, before the harsh summer conditions reset the cycle again.
