Manipur's Chief Minister has addressed a violent incident that occurred on National Highway 37, asserting that such barbaric acts will not be tolerated.
The Chief Minister's statement comes in the wake of the incident, demonstrating the government's commitment to maintaining law and order.
He referred to the involved parties as 'terrorists' and confirmed that appropriate actions are being taken against them.
A combing operation is currently underway to identify and apprehend the culprits.
He assured that such brutal activities will not be tolerated on highways or anywhere in the state, and stringent action will be taken against those responsible.

Armed miscreants reportedly attacked an oil tanker and an LPG tanker along National Highway 37 at Kaimai near Tolen Kuki village in Tousem Sub Division of Tamenglong District, Manipur on April 16.
The attack resulted in significant damage, with at least three tankers bearing the brunt of the assault leaving one injured.
In response to the alarming situation, security forces swiftly mobilized to the scene to restore order and ensure the safety of those affected.
On the otherhand speaking on the Centre's decision to scrap FMR, Biren Singh said "...Whatever the Union HM Amit Shah said the day before yesterday - to keep Manipur's territorial integrity intact...PM removed FMR (Free Movement Regime) and took the decision for fencing...I think what is to be done by the Central Government, under the leadership of PM Modi, has started and only to complete the ongoing process, people need to vote for the BJP candidate..."
