One killed, five injured in road accident at Rangalu in Assam's Kaliabor

A tragic road accident claimed the life of a motorcyclist and left five others seriously injured at Rangalu in Kaliabor, Assam on Sunday, March 1.
According to reports, a car bearing registration number AS 04 AD 0630 collided with a motorcycle (AS 02 D 3088), killing the rider on the spot. The deceased has been identified as Ayub Ali of No. 1 Borghuli in Kaliabor.
Ayub Ali was reportedly on his way to sell fish when the accident occurred. The Celerio car was travelling from Gaurisagar to Barpeta at the time of the collision.
Five occupants of the car, including the driver, sustained serious injuries. The injured have been identified as Raktim Nath, Krishna Devi, Biswajit Nath, Juman Jyoti Nath and a six-year-old girl named Devi.
Police from Jakhalabandha reached the spot soon after the incident and have launched an investigation into the cause of the accident.
